It's been fun

Man, I had a great time on vacation!  I've never seen anything as beautiful as some of the places we went.  The water was blue, the sand was white and CLEAN, and the food was endless, haha.  I probably gained ten pounds just over the course of the week.

While on the cruise, I was thinking about my blog (gay I know).  I started this blog with the intentions of just writing my thoughts and opinions on the paladin class, what I learned about warcraft, and occasionally, whatever else.  However, since then, I have changed, my interests have changed, and my passions have changed.  During the course of this blog, I've gotten engaged, found new interests in the tech and gadget world, and rediscovered my love for console gaming.

I'm abandoning this blog.  Sorry I threw it out there like that, but I suck at beating around the bush.  I've been using tumblr for about a year now and have become quite fond of it.  It's more of a social network than a blog hosting site, but I find it more enjoyable personally, which is the whole point right?  I'll still be writing, but it will be more in the form of a media stream than what this blog has been.

I have no idea how many people look at this blog anymore, or who finds anything I have to say worth a damn, but if YOU do, please feel free to follow me to my new home here.  Thanks for the ride all, it's been fun, and I met some great people who are truly gifted at putting their thoughts onto paper (er, screen).  I hope to see yall on the flip  :)

Sand, water, and beer

Well guys, I'm taking a vacation!

Its my grandparent's 50th anniversary, so we are all going on a cruise to celebrate and relax.  We're leaving Sunday coming, and won't be getting back until the following Sunday.  The cruise is going to Belize, Cozumel, Grand Cayman Islands, and Honduras.  I'm so excited I could piss myself.  Actually I should probably go clean this up.  RSS me and I'll post some pics and stories when I get back.  Adios and via con dios!

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 has been given an official release date by LucasArts via their Facebook page.  Expect it to hit shelves October 26.  I like that it was announced on Star Wars day.  Good call LucasArts!

Personally, I found Star Wars: The Force Unleashed to be an incredibly enjoyable game to play.  It was engaging from beginning to end, the story was good and kept me interested, and it was just an overall great experience to sit down and play it for a few hours.  I’m looking forward to the follow up in October. Rumor has it that more details and revelations regarding Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 will be revealed at E3 in June.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is coming out this year.  Am I stoked?  HELL YES I AM!  I have been a Castlevania fan since it’s NES release.  After watching the trailer, and seeing how promising the content and gameplay looks, this is one of the games I’m looking forward to most in 2010.  

The game is based on a character named Gabriel Belmont.  He has lost his wife to the souls of the dead who are lingering between life and afterlife.  He learns that with a holy relic which is guarded by the Lords of Shadow, he will have the power to bring his wife back from the dead.

There will be an assortment of faces to rip off within the game.  From the looks of the trailer, there will be content scaled to Gabriel’s level, as well as battles with huge titans, much like that of the Shadow of the Colossus game on PS2, which will require you to scale the body of the giant and commence to pwning.

There looks to be a definite Dante’s Inferno/God of War/Devil May Cry feel to the game, which is in no way a bad thing.  It only makes me look forward to itthat much more.  What do you guys think?  Are you excited, or just meh?  Leave a comment and tell me how you feel, and why you feel that way!

Busy weekend

If you all didn't know, I'll be getting hitched this coming November.  My old lady is getting stressed planning the wedding, so I'm going to give her a hand with a few things this weekend.  I may be able to get in an update from my blackberry, but no guarantees.  RSS me and i'll get back in full swing as soon as I can!
