Patch 2.0.1
The last month before the release of the first expansion, Burning Crusade, was a hectic time in Azeroth. With patch 2.0.1 came many changes that were much needed at the time. The LFG interface was introduced, all classes had each talent tree revamped, the honor system was overhauled, arenas and resilience were introduced, and multiple tweaks were made to the Blizzard UI.
These changes are all now cornerstones to how we play on a day to day basis. However, the introduction of these changes and additions came with many, many problems. I remember thinking to myself at the time, "Did Blizzard even test this patch before it was launched?" I also remember reading a comment in trade chat that was along the lines of "Why beta test when people will PAY to do it for us?" The more I thought about it, the more legit that question seemed to be, and the more it seemed to apply to the current situation.
Additional Instances

Have you guys ever been genuinely disappointed with Blizzard? When? What was it that really just pushed your buttons?
Additional Instances cannot be launched definitely made me log out of the game plenty of times. I had a hard enough time getting groups together with my guild, if I was finally able to get one going and not be able to do what we wanted was just too frustrating
ReplyDeleteI was in the beat for TBC. It was unplayable for the most part. I know its hard to believe, but when TBC went live...it was a ton better then the beta's version
